Dr. Lebowitz-Naegeli combines evidence-based practices in Psychopharmacology and Psychotherapy drawing from a range of theoretical models including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Family Therapy. Although she practices psychotherapy, she also works closely with a network of other therapists, medical doctors and schools providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management to give the best overall care for the patient. She works with clients that come from all over New Jersey.

Services provided include:
Comprehensive Psychiatric and Diagnostic Evaluation
All new patients will undergo an evaluation, which takes place over two 60 minute sessions. This includes a full diagnostic history and, when applicable, written permission to speak to other clinicians, medical providers and/or schools and a review of any relevant written documentation. When evaluating a child or adolescent under 18, one meeting will be with the parent(s). At the end of the evaluation process, there will be a discussion of the treatment options and recommendations.
Individual Psychotherapy
If psychotherapy is indicated, individual 45 minute sessions generally will be scheduled, with or without medication management. When working with children and adolescents, sensitive balance will be strived for in patient privacy and addressing parental concerns.
Couples Therapy
Couples sessions may be from 45-75 minutes long. Generally meetings will be with both members of the couple, although individual meetings may also be scheduled.
Family Therapy
Family Therapy sessions may be from 45-75 minutes long. There may be flexibility in which members of the family are present at each session.
Psychopharmacology/Medication Management
If medication is indicated, medication management, with or without psychotherapy, may be provided. Medication management sessions are a minimum of 30 minutes, and may be up to 45 minutes in length. For children and adolescents, there may be periodic family meetings as well.
